Abby (6/10)
Start 20:30 / End 21:10
Abby plays Indie Pop as many other bands nowadays. They also try to differentiate from others using unusual instruments for the genre. The result is nice and danceable songs, which didn’t bore the audience at all. They are young and they have a long road in front of them but it was a pleasant warm up for the evening.
Everything Everything (7/10)
Start 21:40 / End 22:45
After releasing their second album just few months ago, Everything Everything conquered the hype of the Indie Pop scene, being worthy of it I’d like to add. So, no wonder the medium age of the audience was under 25; the big surprise was the few hipsters at the gig (have they finally become extinct?). Everything Everything proposed many songs of the new album; the band works pretty well live, with nice melodies and not-banal song structure. The members don’t talk very much, but the show was appreciated by everyone and noone can say they were getting bored. Everything Everything won’t reinvent this music genre, but for sure they are something fresh and their contribute should not be underestimated. Here a nice review of the new album!
