Chromatics (8/10)
Start 16:40 / End 17:45
The Spreepark is doubtless a great unique location for a concert: a huge abandoned amusement park close to the banks of the Spree. Walking in the middle of old dinosaurs, roller coaters and other attractions is pretty striking. A bad weather does not manage to discourage the numerous fans.
I get to the Spreepark at 4.30pm, just in time to assist to Chromatics. I have to admit that I did not know this band before, but I immediately liked them: they have a nice full sound and after a bit you discover yourself dancing at the catchy rhythm of their songs. They close reinterpreting in a brilliant way Neil Young’s hit My my, hey hey.

Jessie Ware (7/10)
Start 18:15 / End 19:20
Jessie Ware entertained the public with ah hour of her top hits, singing enjoyable songs and performing a duet or maybe more. Her music is definitely in tune with the one of the xx, and she knows how to prepare the scene for the xx to enter the stage.

The xx (8/10)
Start 21:05 / End 22:15
It takes a while for the technicians to prepare the stage for the xx. A few minutes after they start playing I understand why: their show is a continuous crescendo of games of light and smoke. Their gig is great, the sound is perfect and the atmosphere of the Spreepark enhances and amplifies all the positive feelings. I take a look around and I see that everyone there is totally enjoying the moment. Oliver repeats a few times how much he wanted to organize this night and day concert and how many efforts it required: it was damn worth, man!
