Forrests (6/10)
Start 20:55 / End 21:35
Forrests is an electronic duo from Dublin, which had the task to open the gig at Berghain. The duo has just released its first EP “Wired”, and there’s no bigger privilege than to present it live in Berlin at Berghain. The duo’s sound could be defined as a sort of Electronic Post-Rock, something which reminds of a version of Sigur Ros of the third millennium. Forrests created its music with guitar and synthesizer, supported by proper light effects, which helped to appreciate its proposal. Listen here to some its stuff!

Zan Lyons (6/10)
Start 22:00 / End 22:35
Pretty interesting was the music proposal by Zan Lyons: with his instrumentation placed on the left table of the stage and a violin, he created a basically Noise flow, immersed in Electronic, which mixed Ambient, Drone and some classical sound for a dark and painful music experience.

Fuck Buttons (7/10)
Start 23:10 / End 24:15
The electronic duo from Bristol was introduced by five minutes of atmospherical music, before starting its Experimental set. With its brand new “Slow Focus”, released just few months ago, Fuck Buttons reached a large success, getting the hype of the music press and a lot of new fans, as the packed venue proves. Fuck Buttons’ members placed themselves each one at one short side of a table located in the middle of the stage, each one in front of the other. The table was full of instrumentation, with which they created their flow of Drone Experimental Electronic music, which doesn’t reject melodic components, reminding of some Post-Rock sonorities. Proper and engaging were the light effects from the Berghain’s system, which emphasized the result playing on a disco sphere, just placed between Fuck Buttons at the stage height. The audience seemed to be full kidnapped by the duo’s music, screaming when the bass lines got deeper, and dancing all set long. Simply what a dance set is supposed to be.
