Bambara (6/10)
Start 21:00 / End 21:25
Bambara proposed a quite interesting and original sound, based on a Noise Rock and Post-Punk mix accompanied by ancestral moans. Guitarist/Singer did extensive use of the effects pedal in order to intensify the atmosphere, with the result of intriguing the listener enough to get deeper into the Bambara sound.

Cheatahs (7/10)
Start 21:50 / End 22:20
The band Cheatahs, which is going to release its debut album next February, is acting as support band during the European leg of METZ’s tour. The band played an honest Indie Rock, which strongly reminded of the American one.  Although Cheatahs didn’t invent anything new, its sounds is fresh and the nice and catchy riffs make your ass shake. The audience reacted positively and surely many people will wait with extreme curiosity for the album in February.

METZ (8/10)
Start 22:35 / End 23:25
METZ has recently released its debut album and this is already the second time we have the chance to witness its impressive iconoclastic fury during a live show, since the band played in Berlin just a few months ago. Aware of the power of the performance, the idea of having the chance to listen to some of the new material was a further incentive to attend the gig. Bi Nuu proved to be a more appropriate venue in terms of acoustics than the one chosen by the band the previous time it played in Berlin, where differences with a common cellar could hardly be found. METZ’s mix of Noise Rock and Hardcore Punk didn’t disappoint. The band didn’t spare itself and sweated till the last drop: xx jumped as if he were possessed during the whole show, screamed as if there were no tomorrow, rolled on stage and climbed the drums to reach the ceiling with his guitar. The whole live experience was a flow of energy which it’s hard to describe. The new songs proposed are in line with the sound pertaining to METZ. Please release the new album as soon as possible and come again to Berlin to tear another venue down!
