PINS (6/10)
Start 20:15 / End 20:45
PINS is an English all-girls band, that formed in 2001 and is going to release its sophomore album “Wild Nights” this year. The young band proposed an enjoyable set of noisy Garage Pop, that showed strong influences from bands like Sleater-Kinney. Therefore the choice of these girls as opening band was nevertheless exactly right: PINS confirmed to know how to stay on stage and the audience seemed to appreciate its mix of Rock songs, sometimes more Pop and sometimes more Punk oriented. PINS managed indeed to warm the venue in the wait for the riot queens.

Sleater-Kinney (8/10)
Start 21:20 / End 22:45
To define briefly Sleater-Kinney, it’s enough to say that the band has considered by many critics as one of the essential rock groups of the late 1990s/early 2000s. Formed in 1994 and “mothers” of riot girls and Indie Rock scene of the Pacific Northwest in US, Sleater-Kinney reunited in 2014, after a hiatus in 2006, and is now touring supporting its latest album “No Cities To Love”, released last January. Once Corin, Carrie and Janet came out on the stage, the fans exploded in enthusiastic screams, showing their devotion to this legendary bands. Sweater-Kinney exchanged this love with a great performance, playing all the major hits of its long career. The American girls trio, supported live by Katie Harkin in some songs, went hard to play on stage, in special way Carrie that set free his Punk soul.
The show confirmed that Sleater-Kinney´s sound, based on Alternative and Indie Rock, is still up-to-date, has nothing to envy to other more famous bands and can still give a lot to this music scene!
