The Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell (7/10)
Start 20:00 / End 20:30
This English band, that competes to win the most long band name competition, took its name after a 17th century English naval commander. Formed in 2008, TASCS is going to release this year its sophomore album “Check ‘Em Before You Wreck ‘Em” on Rise Above Records. Once on stage, the British trio kicked all back in the past to the 70s with just a couple of riffs. TASCS didn’t played only 70s Hard Rock, but they really looked like as they were come out directly from the 70s. The band played 30 minutes of powerful Heavy Rock, with catchy riffs but enough rough to sound true. TASCS is maybe not original, surely is not perfect, but was able to offer an energetic set that seemed to be highly appreciated by the audience. A band on which it’s definitely worth to keep an eye on!

Danko Jones (9/10)
Start 21:00 / End 22:20
It was only last February when Danko Jones played a sold out show in Berlin, but you can’t have never enough of this powerful music, so it means nothing but extreme joy for all the fans of this Canadian band. Last month Danko Jones released also its seventh album “Fire Music”, and the name couldn’t be more appropriated to describe what happened at the Berlin date. From the moment when Danko & Co. came out to the stage till the final greetings, half of the people in the venue was jumping, moshing and singing together in the best traditional positive Rock way you can imagine it. Danko was able to create such an energetic flow with the audience, that everybody was involved and couldn’t avoid to take part in. It’s worthless to talk about the single songs, it was really a harmonious but intense and fierce set, based on its characteristic blend of Hard Rock and Blues Rock, that have made Danko Jones famous worldwide and the legitimate heir of bands like Thin Lizzy or AC/DC. If Danko Jones collects almost only sold-out shows, there’s a reason and if you want to know it, don’t miss its concerts: you would come back home totally sweated but feeling yourself like regenerated with a big smile on your face!
