Immanu El (7/10)
Start 19:55 – End 20:35
Immanu El is a Swedish band that was started in 2004 by the young twin brothers Strängberg together with some friends. Just a music experiment at the beginning, the band turned them into an effective band, that released its latest album “In Passage” in 2011 and currently is working on new material. The Swedish quintet was able to make sweet the waiting for the “Explosions”, delighting the audience with its songs, structured with Post-Rock-style crescendos and additional vocals arrangements. The result was a sound full of “positive melancholy”, which accompanied the listeners through the landscapes created by Immanu El´s songs. The new album is currently looking for pledges on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter: check it out and bake it!

Explosions In The Sky (8/10)
Start 21:00 – End 22:30
Explosions in The Sky released its sixth full-length effort “The Wilderness”, first non-soundtrack work in five years, just some months ago and the waiting for the Berlin date, part of its current European tour, was high, like the expectations among the fans. Opening with the title-track “The Wilderness”, the American band confirmed from the first notes its live band reputation, mesmerizing the audience with its elaborated guitar work, its multi-layered sounds, able to create unforgettable atmospheres, where the fans could just close the eyes and abandon themselves to them. With appropriate light effects, Explosions In The Sky offered an emotional and enthusiastic live show, alternating rich, dramatic and tuneful passages with slightly Indie Pop-oriented pieces, where electronic tones and dub-influenced echoes merged together to let the audience reach the final catharsis through this wonderful music. One of the best current Instrumental Rock band in activity!
