Start 19:50 – End 20:30
Could it possible to insert Jazz interludes into Extreme Metal songs without sounding ridiculous? Ask Shining if you have doubts. The Norwegian band confirmed again the distinctiveness of its sound, hypnotizing the audience with its Groove Metal merging perfectly furious attacks with jazzy parts to get an impressive sound that burned the ears of the attendees.
The Dillinger Escape Plan (9/10)
Start 21:05 – End 22:30
Just one thing is sure: we’ll miss them. Even if it’s not still clear if they stop the live activity, they go on hiatus or they really disband. Math-core, Hardcore Punk, Free Jazz and what ever it comes to your mind has been the trademark of this amazing band that has made the history of extreme music. Sweat, not-stopping moshing and crowd-surfing featured the gig from the beginning to the end. The band didn’t spare its energy and passion, the fans paid with all their sweat back. Dillinger Escape Plan greeted the Berlin fans after the encore leaving the audience with a touching and epic performance. Everybody left the venue with the smile on the faces to have attended something unique but also with a bit of sadness in their hearts, if this was really the last Berlin show of this incredible band. In the end just thanks for all Dillinger Escape Plan.
